USC Trojans: Best and MOST CORRUPT team in college football?

Remember before the Texas-USC game how ESPN was ranking the best teams of all time and USC beat out everyone? They hadn't even won the national championship game and everyone was already jocking them. Then what happened? Texas won! Shoudn't that mean that Texas 2005 is the best team of all time? Funny how there was no mention of it after the game.
