You obviously have your own drive, and you have gotten a lot done so far. If he is too ignorant to see what you are doing and appreciate it and give you a little encouragement, then just don't look for any kind words from him. Just keep on going and satisfy yourself. When he sees how hard you worked and the success that you got, then he will wake up and say something. I hope he is not jealous of you and your success. That would be destructive.
