Pet or prisoner, what do you think?

Making sure they're kept safe is part of them being your family. You wouldn't let a small child run wild all day and into the night - even knowing he/she will come home, eventually. So, why would you let your pet run free like that? Keeping them where they will be safe is part of the responsiblity of pet ownership. Just like kids, pets that are allowed to run free like that can get into a lot of trouble, or get hurt.
