Are college people like high school people?

I was wondering if you could tell me about college. ATM I am in high school in Leeds and I really do nt get on with people there my age. Everyone tries so hard to fit in and it's just all about drink and drugs. I cantstand being a teenager. I wanted to know if uni is the same,or is it different?
