Mostly for democrats but everyone can answer since it will involve everyone eventually?

Okay, we know obama is in the lead for delegates. We know clinton has won the big important states. While looking at it from a democrat point of view, which would you prefer... the one winning the "popular vote" or the one winning the "electoral vote"? Forget about the candidates themselves... if it was based only on one or the other... which would it be?
