Has anyone ever had a "c-section scar removal with a hysterectomy?"?

My doctor (actually 3 dr's) have recommended I have a hysterectomy, however one suggested that I have the c-section removed as it possibly contains endometriosis within the skin tissue (causing the pain I have been experiencing the last 4 years that no one has been able to pinpoint the cause of) .....he is suggesting to "cut out" the c-section scar and do an open hysterectomy. I cannot find anything online about this type of procedure being done and I am a little wary of this. Any suggestions??????
