Friend/date kinda issue.. plz help. ?

Ok. So there's a girl in one of my cles. She's a good friend of mine and I don't know what I was thinking when I straight up asked her to a banquet as my date, and surprisingly she said yes right away. now I don't what's going on... I mean I don't know if she has a boyfriend or anything, but she does seem to hang out with a lot of guys. I don't know what she thinks of me... I mean I kinda like her, but we're also good friends... And I don't know how to act on the da, I mean should I just be myself when I'm with friends or be a lil more on the romantic side...i need help. Lol
