Can iraqis enter jordan as a transit to Syria?

i am an iraqi citizen leaving to Syria, i bought a ticket and my plane (Royal Jordinian) enter Jordan for Transit ONLY which is only 6 hours, would i be in need for a visa to enter Jordan airport especially that i got a removal penalty on my iraqi pport from not entering Jordan again...the thing is that all i need is a tranist through Jordan airport to Syria and NOT entering the country (jordan) inside! PLZ i need a quick answer as soon as possiple...for the record i am coming from USA
